HanesBrands Takes Additional Floor at Sapir’s 260 Madison

Apparel manufacturer HanesBrands Inc. has expanded its presence at the Sapir Organization’s 260 Madison Ave., where it will now occupy a total of 96,398 square feet at the 570,000-square-foot office property.

The expansion adds the 36,293-square-foot seventh floor to HanesBrands’ presence, and brings 260 Madison to 100% leased. The tenant plans to relocate offices currently at 16 E. 34th St. in fall 2019.

CBRE’s Peter Turchin, Gregg Rothkin, Brett Shannon, Tim Freydberg and Jared London represented the Sapir organization. “HanesBrands wanted to consolidate its New York City employees under one roof, creating a more cohesive workforce,” said London.

“Having long been a tenant at 260 Madison, when a full-floor space became available after CBRE recently renewed and relocated Solomon Page Group within the building, HanesBrands jumped on the opportunity,” he added.

Mitchell Konsker of JLL and Robert Gallucci of Colliers International represented HanesBrands in the deal.
