Hampton Inn San Antonio Downtown Hotel Goes to BH Hospitality Management

BH Hospitality Management LLC of San Antonio made its first local buy, acquiring the 169-key Hampton Inn San Antonio Downtown Riverwalk hotel. Magna Hospitality Group, headquartered in Rhode Island, sold the hotel at 414 Bowie St. The seller had owned the hotel since 2013.

The hotel delivered in the mid-1990s; amenities include a pool, business center and free breakfast. The property is one of close to a dozen Hampton Inns in the area, and the second one to operate in the CBD.

While the acquisition is BH Hospitality’s first in San Antonio proper, it is active in New Braunfels, where the company owns a Homewood Suites and is building a Tru by Hilton. The company also owns/is developing other hotels in Houston, Kenedy, Galveston, Waco and Webster.

HFF’s John Bourret and Austin Brooks represented the seller.
