Hammack Creek Apartments Will Create Some 150 Construction Jobs

The development of the approximately $24-million 112-unit multifamily community known as Hammack Creek Apartment homes is soon to be underway. The 112,112-square-foot property will be a mixed-income project located on 7.35 acres at 337 Kennedale Sublett Rd. in Kennedale and is expected to provide synergy with other surrounding uses along Kennedale Parkway.

The project is being developed by OM Housing, and financed by Colliers Mortgage LLC, Boston Financial, US Department of Housing and Urban Development, and Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs.

Hammack Creek will create more than 150 construction jobs and six permanent jobs for Kennedale.

At just 6.6 square miles, the city is centrally located between Forth Worth and Arlington. Kennedale’s population is approximately 8,000 residents and growth has topped 17% in the past decade.

Hammack Creek Apartments will be the first National Green Building Standard-certified project in Kennedale.
