Hamilton Zanze Snags Two Metro Baltimore MF Communities

San Francisco-based real estate firm Hamilton Zanze has acquired two multifamily properties in the Baltimore-area community of Columbia, MD. Hamilton Zanze purchased the properties from seller Aimco. The firm now owns and operates six apartment communities in the D.C./Baltimore metro area.

The properties include the 178-unit Timbers at Long Reach and the 198-unit Chimneys of Cradlerock. Both properties are garden-style and are each more than 95% occupied. Units feature washers and dryers, walk-in closets and private patios and balconies.

The firm’s capital improvements plans for the properties include exterior maintenance and improvements, landscaping, and interior unit renovations. At the Chimneys of Cradlerock, the property will receive additional upgrades to its community amenities and security systems. Property management responsibilities have been transitioned to Mission Rock Residential.
