Hamilton Zanze Acquires 312-Unit Sandy Springs MF Community
San Francisco-based real estate firm Hamilton Zanze has acquired Lodge on the Chattahoochee, a 312-unit multifamily community in Sandy Springs, MD. The sales price was not disclosed.
Built in 1973, the property was 98% occupied at the time of sale. Amenities include access to riverfront trails on the Chattahoochee river, a fitness center, dog park and business center. Additional features include washers and dryers, wood-style flooring, private balconies, walk-in closets and attached garages.
Hamilton Zanze plans to implement capital improvements at the property, including amenity upgrades and interior renovations. Property management responsibilities have been transitioned to HZ affiliate Mission Rock Residential.
The acquisition is part of a three-property portfolio that Hamilton Zanze purchased from seller Aimco, that also included Timbers at Long Reach and Chimneys of Cradlerock in Columbia, MD.
