Halpern Enterprises Scores 20K-SF Lease with Burlington Stores at Griffin Retail Center
Atlanta, GA-based Halpern Enterprises, Inc. has inked a deal with Burlington Stores, Inc. for the national off-price retailer to lease a 20,000-square-foot retail location at North Griffin Square, a 226,694-square-foot shopping center at 1617 North Expressway in Griffin, GA.
Built by privately held commercial real estate firm Halpern Enterprises, Inc. in 1979, North Griffin Square is anchored by Belk, Bealls and Big Lots, with national retailers PetSmart, T-Mobile, Little Caesars, Longhorn and Starbucks. Halpern Enterprises, Inc. is finalizing an exterior improvement program at the property that includes modernizing building facades, raising parapets to increase tenant visibility and adding landscaping enhancements to the parking lot.
North Griffin Square is adjacent to Halpern Enterprises, Inc.-owned Griffin Crossroads, which is shadow-anchored by Walmart Supercenter and includes Marshall’s, PetSense, Hibbett Sports, rue21 and Great Clips.
Halpern owns and operates more than 50 properties, totaling more than 3.7 million square feet, in AL, GA, NC, SC and TN.
