Halpern Enterprises Promotes Matthew Oppenheimer to President
Atlanta-based Halpern Enterprises, Inc., has elevated Matthew Oppenheimer from director of acquisitions to company president. He will be responsible for enhancing the value of the company’s existing portfolio, achieving growth goals through acquisitions and new development and maintaining a strong financial and organizational foundation.
Matthew is a member of Halpern’s third generation of family employees. He joined the company in 2012 as a regional property manager before serving as an analyst and associate on the development team. In 2019, he was named director of acquisitions.
Matthew succeeds Bill Brown, who served as president for 14 years.
Before joining Halpern, Matthew was a leasing agent with Glenwood Development and an analyst with Rosenberg Capital Advisors, focusing on retail property acquisitions. He began his real estate career on the retail leasing team at Colliers International.
Halpern owns and operates over 50 properties totaling 3.7 million square feet in AL, GA, NC, SC and TN.
