Hall Group Gets OK to add 2,000 Residential Units to Hall Park

One of the oldest business parks in Frisco, TX is about to get a makeover. Specifically, the 162-acre, 2.5 million square-foot Hall Park could be on the receiving end of up to 2,000 residential units. The Frisco city planning commission gave developer Hall Group the okay to add residences.

Hall Group began development on the project at Dallas North Tollway and Gaylord Parkway in the late 1990s. At the time, the tollway wasn’t completed, and the trend among suburban office parks was just for workspace.

“We believe if we don’t add a live-work-play mixed-use, we are going to be a declining asset which is not good for the city, not in our interest and not in our neighbors’ interest,” Craig Hall told the planning commission. The plan is for luxury condos and apartment space, as well as a hotel and some retail. Hall indicated that the development would still be primarily geared toward office use.
