Hailey Rounds the Bend as CEI’s First Tacoma Multifamily Project
Cypress Equity Investments (CEI) recently completed construction of Hailey, a 186-residence apartment community in Tacoma, according to Michael Sorochinsky, CEI’s founder and CEO. Located at 1210 Tacoma Ave. S. at 13th Street, Hailey was designed by Seattle’s Studio19 Architects.
The floorplans include studio, open one-bedroom, one-bedroom and two-bedroom designs. Construction began in late 2017 and the community received its certificate of occupancy in October 2021.
While Hailey represents the first Tacoma area apartment development for CEI, the firm is looking to expand its presence, both locally and in the greater Puget Sound region.
“Working with the city of Tacoma has been an absolute pleasure,” says Sorochinsky. “The eagerness and cooperation we received in bringing this property to completion has been second to none and we look forward to the next opportunity to collaborate.”
