Hackman Signs Retail Trio for Amazon Studios’ Culver City MXU
Hackman Capital Partners, LLC has announced three new retail tenants at The Culver Steps, its transformative downtown Culver City mixed-use development and the new home of Amazon Studios.
Paris-based beauty giant, Sephora has signed for anchor retail space at the project, which offers 45,000 square feet of curated retail space paired to the Class A creative office space, a nearly acre-sized public plaza, and a two-level subterranean parking structure.
Along with Sephora, new retailers include San Francisco-based Philz Coffee and Portland ice cream export Salt & Straw, which will join CorePower Yoga and Mendocino Farms which signed on in fall 2019.
Lee Shapiro and Christine Deschaine of Kennedy Wilson’s Property Services division brokered the deals.
Hackman Capital signed Amazon Studios for the entirety of The Culver Steps’ office space, and for an additional approximately 550,000 square feet at the adjacent Culver Studios project, currently under development.
