Haas To Start Work on $300M LV Factory
Haas Automation will begin construction on its 2.4-million-square-foot space in Henderson this fall.
The company’s presence will be important to the Henderson economy. It has already invested more than 100 million dollars in site acquisition and development and expects to invest more than 300 million dollars in construction over the next two years. The manufacturing facility, which will be completed in 2026, is projected to create over 2,500 jobs over the next 10 years.
This will be Haas Automation’s second factory, following the current one in Southern California, to meet the growing demand for its computer numerical control (CNC) machine tools.
Haas Automation is the largest machine tool builder in the United States, and one of the largest builders of CNC machines in the world. They manufacture a complete line of CNC vertical machining centers, horizontal machining centers, turning centers, 5-axis machining centers, and rotary products, as well as a wide selection of fully integrated automation solutions, including automatic parts loaders, pallet-pool systems, and 6-axis robot systems.
