H5 Expands Edge Data Center in Downtown SA

H5 Data Centers announced the expansion of its edge data center at 100 Taylor St. in downtown San Antonio. The Denver-based company said the 5,000-square-foot expansion of turnkey colocation space adds additional Tier III infrastructure capacity to the data center campus.

“International carriers, regional Internet Service Providers and enterprises continue to add to the growing San Antonio interconnection ecosystem,” said Josh Simms, H5’s founder and CEO. “Given San Antonio’s strategic position along key long haul fiber routes and location in South Texas, our data center is well-positioned for continued IT infrastructure services growth.”

Located in a Qualified Opportunity Zone, 100 Taylor spans 85,000 square feet across two buildings. The San Antonio data center features direct access to the key metro and long haul network providers in Texas, says H5. CenturyLink, LOGIX, Telia, Windstream and other long haul carriers’ networks are directly accessible from the San Antonio facility.
