H.W. Kaufman Group Relocates NYC Offices to Silverstein Tower in Midtown

Global specialty insurance organization H.W. Kaufman Group will relocate its New York City office to 1177 Ave. of the Americas, Silverstein Properties said Wednesday. The company signed a 10-year lease for 11,012 square feet upon its move from 555 Fifth Ave. in late 2025.

“We are pleased to welcome Kaufman’s esteemed team of professionals to 1177 Ave. of the Americas,” said Harlan Strader, VP of leasing at Silverstein Properties. “With high-level service and flexible design, the tower enables top companies to redefine their work experience and empower productivity throughout their organizations.”

Casimer Daniewski, corporate VP, real estate for H.W. Kaufman, said the company selected the 47-story tower “based on its highly desirable location, state-of-the-art services and proximity to our clients and insurance company partners.”

Silverstein was represented in-house by Strader and by Lou D’Avanzo, Anthony LoPresti, Peter Kerans and Caroline Collins of Cushman & Wakefield. Kaufman was represented by Kirill Azovtsev, Shay Bolton, and Alex Redlus of Savills.
