H-E-B Eyeing Flower Mound Development for Future Store

Texas supermarket power H-E-B has purchased 22 acres in Flower Mound. The land, at the northeast corner of FM 1171 and US 377, is in the Furst Ranch mixed-use development.

The preliminary concept plan submitted to the town also included a fuel station.

Furst Ranch is a 2,300-acre mixed-use development that will have 3,000 single-family homes, 6,000 multifamily housing units, 500,000 square feet of retail and parks. Starwood Land, Lincoln Properties and Ramrock Real Estate LLC are the developers for Furst Ranch.

Construction of the infrastructure for the first phase of Furst Ranch is expected to begin in October and wrap up in April. It’s expected to cost around $30 million.

Construction of the first phase of homes within the development is expected to start in 2027.
