GymBox co-owners Cameron Williams and Brian Parker sold their 20,000-square-foot gym in Longview, TX to Planet Fitness. Williams and Parker told the Longview News-Journal that they sold the assets at the Triple Creek Shopping Center, 110 Triple Creek Dr., because the fitness business was becoming increasingly saturated in the East Texas city. GymBox opened in Longview in 2013.

The duo is not going out of business; GymBox runs a facility at 2700 Richmond Dr. in Texarkana, TX. The sellers plan to use the proceeds from the sale to build in other markets.

Pinnacle Properties of McKinney, TX owns the Triple Creek Shopping Center, which opened in 1980. The retail property totals 45,674 square feet, is situated on seven acres, and tenants include Posados Mexican Cafe, Nationstar Mortgage, Sola Salons and Motion Church.
