Guthrie Picks Up Pair of OC Assets
Newport Beach, CA-based Guthrie Development acquired two Orange County properties, including a six-building retail and office asset in Laguna Niguel, CA and 4200 Bonita, a 64,250-square-foot industrial building in Fullerton, CA.
The retail/office buildings, which total 24,535 square feet, are at 27781-27841 La Paz Rd. and were acquired from La Paz Partners for $5.8 million. The industrial property at 4200 Bonita Pl. was bought from the owner and tenant, BI Technologies, an electronics parts supplier, for $7.8 million.
CBRE’s Larry Schuler represented the buyer of the Laguna Niguel asset, while NGKF’s Josh Cunningham and Travis Dunn represented the seller. In the industrial deal, JLL’s Zach Niles represented the buyer and seller.
Guthrie will complete initial capital improvements on the Laguna Nigel properties, and plans to sell each building to an owner/user, or keep as a leased investment.
