Gulf Winds Extends 303K-SF Lease Term

Gulf Winds International Inc. signed an extended lease for 303,281 square feet at Greens Port Industrial Park, 1755 Federal Rd. in Houston. Jeff Venghaus and Ryan Fuselier of JLL represented the tenants. Watco Cos. at Greens Port Industrial park negotiated terms for the landlord.

Gulf Winds International is a full-service, third-party logistics firm focused on warehousing, land transportation, distribution and consolidation. The tenant wanted to remain in the location because of rail-served capabilities, and proximity to the Port of Houston, according to Fuselier.

Greens Port Industrial park originally opened in 1942 as a steel plant. Owned by the Watco Cos. since 2011, the property encompasses more than 650 acres and 3.1 million square feet in Houston’s southeast industrial market. The facility includes connectivity to Class 1 railroads, four deep-water docks, three barge docks and easy access to Interstate 10.
