Gulf Coast Commercial Group has acquired Baybrook Passage Shopping Center, a 189,334-square-foot shopping center located on more than 20 acres at 19425 Gulf Freeway in southeast Houston.
The 2003-built center is approximately 80% occupied by a tenant roster that consists of Best Buy, Staples, Memorial Hermann Urgent Care and DXL Casual Male as well as food and service concepts Mia’s Table, Torchy’s Tacos, Pei Wei Asian Kitchen and The Joint.
CBRE represented the seller, Passage Realty Inc., in the transaction. Passage Realty owns the nearby Baybrook Mall.
Gulf Coast Commercial was founded in 1999 and has overseen the development of more than 8 million square feet of retail space. The firm has historically focused on new development projects but has expanded its portfolio in recent years with value-add shopping centers such as Baybrook Passage.
