GuideStone Sells Uptown Building, Plans Relocation
GuideStone Financial Resources announced plans to move in late summer 2018 from its present digs in Dallas’ Uptown submarket to 115,000 square feet at Pinnacle Tower, 5005 LBJ Freeway in the Galleria area of North Dallas. The company provides employee benefits to Southern Baptist and evangelical Christian churches and ministries.
GuideStone acquired and has occupied a 194,000-square-foot building at 2401 Cedar Springs Rd. since 1989. It, along with Crescent development across the street, helped kick off the Uptown building boom. The Uptown building is being leased back until the relocation.
JLL’s Jack Crews led the team in selling the Cedar Springs property to an undisclosed buyer. Brad Selner and Brooke Armstrong, also of JLL, negotiated the new office lease on behalf of the tenant. Encore Enterprises is the landlord and owner of Pinnacle Tower.
