GroundFloor Development Land Grab Leads Way for MXU
GroundFloor Development acquired one of the largest contiguous tracts of vacant land remaining on West Davis Street in Dallas’ Oak Cliff neighborhood. The Dallas-based developer is planning to build a mixed-use residential and retail project at 2105 and 2211 W. Davis St., near the Bishop Arts District The site’s existing zoning allows for 20 townhomes and a five-story apartment project.
Transwestern’s Steve Williamson and Ben Coffee negotiated the transaction between the buyer and the local private seller, which traded for an undisclosed sales price. The acreage, assessed at just over $1 million, attracted multiple offers.
Williamson said that GroundFloor’s team includes Matt Holley, who isn’t a stranger to Oak Cliff; he developed the Kessler Woods community north of the West Davis site.
