Groundbreaking Set for $40M MOB Facility Next to Miami’s Baptist Hospital

Coral Gables, FL-based AJP Ventures and Mas Group plan to break ground next week on a $40-million Class A medical office building located next to Baptist Hospital of Miami. The new 116,000-square-foot building is at 9408 Southwest 87th Ave.

MedSquare Health will be the first, off-campus Class A MOB to be developed in the Baptist Hospital of Miami submarket in more than 20 years. The three-story office project sits on 4.5 acres of land, and will be developed as a LEED certified building.

AJP Ventures’ Alberto J. Pérez says, “We’re excited to begin working on this project, as there’s a high demand for healthcare real estate in South Florida. The completion of MedSquare Health will ensure that South Florida healthcare providers in all types of practices can continue to fulfill their mission of serving our community for many years to come.”
