Grossman Development Group Acquires Bay State Commons Mixed-Use in Westborough

Framingham, MA-based Grossman Development Group has acquired Bay State Commons, a mixed-use 261,672-square-foot development located in downtown Westborough, MA. The acquisition of Bay State Commons continues Grossman Development Group’s portfolio expansion focused on grocery-anchored value-add properties in strong communities throughout New England and beyond.

The Roche Bros.-anchored outdoor lifestyle center abuts a two-acre town park and features a variety of dining, shopping, health and wellness offerings such as Boston Interiors, Reliant Medical, Boston Ski & Tennis, Ted’s Montana Grill and Panera Bread.

“This property has enormous potential to create a compelling downtown destination and gathering point for Westborough and the surrounding communities,” said Jeremy Grossman, principal of Grossman Development Group.

Grossman Development Group and acquisition partner Baystate Westborough, LLC plan significant investment property improvements, including new sidewalks, upgraded landscaping and signage, along with and community-focused events.

The property retail leasing is currently represented by Kelleher & Sodowsky.

About Lisa McDuffie

Lisa McDuffie arrives at ConnectCRE via REALTOR® world, where she served for nearly two decades as communications director for one of the nation’s largest REALTOR® organizations. She supported two membership-elected presidents who were commercial real estate practitioners, and managed the communications initiatives of the organization’s commercial special interest group. When not following the latest commercial real estate news, Lisa is zeroed in on her charismatic off-the-track thoroughbred as she makes the transition from an utterly failed racehorse to a lovely show hunter.
