Greystone Makes Key Hires for Institutional, Portfolio Lending Groups
Greystone has made two key hires at its Manhattan headquarters. David E. Friedman has joined as a senior managing director and head of institutional lending to lead a strategic build-out and take-to-market execution of the firm’s new institutional lending platform. Simultaneously, David Goodwin joined as a managing director in the firm’s portfolio lending group.
Friedman will focus on further advancing and developing new institutional capital relationships across the Agency and FHA lending platforms, while establishing an enhanced gateway to Greystone’s advisory, structured finance and servicing solutions. Goodwin will focus on underwriting large-balance bridge loans, a 2021 focus for Greystone’s portfolio lending platform.
Goodwin joins Greystone from Wells Fargo, and previously served as a managing director at Société Générale as a founding member of its CMBS program. Friedman comes to Greystone from TD Bank, where he served as a regional director and SVP within its commercial real estate banking group.
