Greystar Receives Approval on 350-Unit MF
Charleston, SC-based Greystar received city council approval to develop a 350-unit multifamily project in Redwood City, CA. The eight-story building at 1409 El Camino Real also includes 35 affordable units, 6,000 square feet of ground-level retail and more than 440 parking spots.
The 1.6-acre development will replace a retail store, veterinary clinic, auto body shop and office space. The project was designed by Oakland, CA-based Studio T Square. It will be Greystar’s fourth project in Redwood City in recent years, totaling nearly 1,000 apartments.
Greystar, as a condition of approval, plans to contribute $250,000 to a Habitat for Humanity project at 612 Jefferson Ave., which includes 20 affordable condos.
