Greystar Launches 55+ Community in Vernon Hills

Greystar recently broke ground on Everleigh Vernon Hills, a new 55+ active adult community with an undisclosed number of units in Vernon Hills, IL. It’s scheduled to open in the fall of 2022,

Floorplans come in one- and two-bedroom layouts, as well as two-bedrooms with a den and cottage homes, which are separate homes that surround the apartment building and include their own garage, patios and upgraded finishes with access to all the amenities. Greystar said the project will have more outdoor amenity space than most active adult communities.

“Everleigh Vernon Hills will deliver the lifestyle active adults are looking for with endless opportunity to meet like-minded people in a similar stage of life,” said Nathan Wetmore, regional property manager. “It is perfect for adults looking to right-size or relocate from an urban environment.”

Charleston, SC-based Greystar previously developed The Atworth at Mellody Farm in Vernon Hills.
