Greystar Breaks Ground on McKinney Airport Trade Center Project
At total buildout, Greystar’s first industrial development in the Metroplex will consist of five structures totaling 740,000 square feet of space. The buildings will be spread out across 70 acres.
The project will be done in phases. The first phase calls for the construction of three buildings totaling 320,000 square feet. Completion is expected by the end of 2022. Greystar secured a construction loan for $64 million originated by First Horizon Bank.
The McKinney Airport Trade Center is situated less than three miles from McKinney National Airport. It’s also within five miles of Highways 75 and 380. There are a number of notable companies nearby. They include Amazon, Blue Mountain Equipment and HiSun Motor Sports.
Greystar acquired the property last September. Robert Lynn and Carey Cox of NAI represented the buyer. Lynn will also manage the property.
