Greystar Breaks Ground on Latest Addition to Everett’s Commercial Triangle

Greystar has begun construction on a 416-unit apartment project in a corner of Everett, MA that has been seeing a lot of residential development, including four previous projects from the same developer. The Boston Business Journal reported that the seven-story Juniper will be the second phase of the South Carolina-based company’s development at 1690 Revere Beach Pkwy. The first phase, a 325-unit known as Jade, is expected to be ready in early 2025.

All told, Greystar is on track to deliver more than 1,900 units in Everett’s Commercial Triangle, reported the Business Journal. The firm has already opened Mason at 101 Mill Rd. and Anthem Everett at 35 Garvey St., the latter opening last month. It topped off Maxwell, at 85 Boston St., earlier this year.

To finance Juniper’s construction, Greystar recently closed on a $111-million loan from Mexico-based Banco Inbursa. Construction is expected to last through mid-2026.

“Greystar remains committed to our efforts in the Commercial Triangle District’s emergence as a vibrant, mixed-use neighborhood and look forward to continuing our work in this community,” Gary Kerr, the firm’s senior managing director of development, said in a statement.
