Greystar, Consigli Celebrate Topping Out of Somerville Life Sciences Building 

Greystar and Consigli marked the topping-out of 74M, 17-story, 465,000-square-foot life science building in Somerville’s Assembly Square district. Somerville Mayor Katjana Ballantyne attended the event. 

74M will be a purpose-built lab development targeting LEED Platinum, WELL Platinum, WiredScore Platinum and SmartScore certification. It will also have a rooftop terrace, conference rooms, a health and wellness center, ground-floor retail, and dedicated bicycle storage. It is set to deliver in Spring 2024 and will be prominently positioned as a new link between the Assembly Square and East Somerville neighborhoods. Greystar’s 74M development will also be accompanied by a new neighborhood park located south of the building at 0 Kensington Avenue.
