Gregory Talcott Joins Caliber from Virtua

Scottsdale’s Caliber Cos. expanded its team with the addition of Gregory Talcott, who joins as SVP, Private Client. The investment capital specialist previously served at Virtua Partners.

Talcott says, “Caliber operates in the same mid-market space that I’m accustomed to for new or existing multifamily, residential, Class A office, commercial and hospitality, so we are a good fit. I have also raised investment for qualified ‘opportunity zone’ projects, which Caliber is active with as well.”

In 2019, Talcott raised more than $100 million from high net-worth individuals, Registered Investment Advisors and institutional entities.

Caliber’s Chris Loeffler says “[Talcott’s] skill set and attention to detail is well-suited to our processes and commitment to growth, as Caliber recently launched its own Regulation A fund.”

Caliber is in a fundraising mode leading up to a planned public offering. Loeffler said the company is looking to sell 12.5 million shares at $4 each to raise $50 million in 12 months.
