Greenland, Brodsky Will Partner on Pacific Park Tower

Greenland Forest City Partners and the Brodsky Organization have formed a joint venture to develop 18 Sixth Ave. at Pacific Park, the 22-acre mixed-use project in Downtown Brooklyn that began life as Atlantic Yards more than a decade ago. The JV plans to begin construction of the 859-unit 18 Sixth Ave., at a reported cost of $640 million, immediately.

Rising to over 500 feet, 18 Sixth will be Pacific Park’s largest residential building to date. Brodsky has already begun work on another project on a site it controls within Pacific Park, 664 Pacific St., which will include a mixed-income rental residential building, expanded open space and a new public school.

“As we accelerate development at Pacific Park, this groundbreaking at 18 Sixth will be a significant step towards fulfilling our promise to develop a world-class neighborhood in the heart of Brooklyn,” said Scott Solish, EVP of development at Greenland Forest City.
