Greenberg Traurig in Talks for Fulton Market Office Space

Law firm Greenberg Traurig is in advanced negotiations to lease around 90,000 square feet in Sterling Bay’s office building under construction at 360 N. Green St., reported Crain’s Chicago Business. If the deal is completed, the firm—one of the largest in Chicago– would move its office from the nearly 125,000-square-foot space it now occupies at 77 W. Wacker Dr., where its lease expires in May 2025.

A Greenberg Traurig spokeswoman said in a statement that “it is premature and wrong to report since nothing is final until a lease is signed.” The negotiations come after a drawn-out search by the firm to move from its longtime Wacker Drive tower.

Crain’s reported that Greenberg would be the first major Chicago law office to plant its flag in Fulton Market, joining corporate offices including Google, McDonald’s and Mondelez International, along with professional services firms including Ernst & Young, Kroll and Boston Consulting Group.

Meet industry experts at the upcoming Connect Midwest: Multifamily and Adaptive Reuse Trends, which takes place June 13, 2023 at the W Chicago City Center Hotel. Click here for more information and to register.
