Green Street Divests Green Street Investors

Newport Beach-based Green Street sold Green Street Investors, an investment manager, resulting in a full divestment of its ownership interest. Green Street Investors has been purchased by its two executive leaders, Craig Leupold and Nicholas Tannura, and will now operate as GSI Capital Advisors.

The decision reflects Green Street’s focus on its core offerings – research, news, data, analytics, and advisory services. By not being affiliated with any commercial brokerage firm, investment bank, or lending operation, Green Street believes it will strengthen its more than 35 years as a third-party provider of objective and unbiased advice on public and private real estate markets.

Green Street’s Jeff Stuek says, “This is a positive change for Green Street as we continue to focus on our core objective of arming clients with the best actionable commercial real estate intelligence and analytics available. The decision also allows GSI Capital Advisors complete independence and flexibility to succeed.”

About Dennis Kaiser

Dennis Kaiser is Vice President of Public Relations and Communications for Connect Creative.
