Green Campus Going Up at Port of L.A.
AltaSea, a collaboration of civic groups and other institutions, plans to build a 35-acre green campus at the Port of L.A. The first phase was approved at a price tag of $217 million and will start in 2017. This campus, designed by architecture firm Gensler, is said to “provide a center for sustainability, scientific and education advancements of global issues, like access to clean water and food resources,” according to GlobeSt.com.
What do you think the demand for a development like this is at the port?
