Great Notion Brewery Opening Second Spot

Great Notion Brewing (GNB), known for its so-called “juicy” IPAs, and “culinary-inspired” sours and stouts, has set its sights on a second Portland, OR location. By late this year, the combination production brewery, restaurant and taproom will be up and running in 20,000 square feet at 1448 N.W. 28th Ave. The company currently has a Portland tap room/restaurant operating at 2204 N.E. Alberta St.

Aaron Watt, Keegan Clay and Matt Johnson of Cushman and Wakefield’s Portland office represented GNB in the transaction. Apex Real Estate Partners represented the property landlord, OSB2LAN Management.

GNB is in the process of securing permits, and working layout designs with ZGF Architects. The company is planning to launch construction in Q2 2017. Centrex Construction is the general contractor.
