Great Hearts Forest Heights Planned

Great Hearts Academies announced plans to build its fourth San Antonio charter school campus, Great Hearts Forest Heights. The facility will be situated on 11 acres near Prue Road and Research Drive in northwest San Antonio. Construction on the school is scheduled to begin in late September 2018, with the 40,840-square-foot, $7.4-million first phase opening slated for August 2019.

The new campus will initially house 600 students from kindergarten through fifth grade. A new grade level will be added each year, through 12th grade. Construction on phase two will launch in tandem with the expansion. At full capacity, the school will accommodate approximately 1,400 students.

HKS Inc. is the architect on the first phase.
