GrayStreet Receives Final HDRC Approval on Print Building
After more than a year of working with the city of San Antonio, the San Antonio Historic and Design Review Commission (HDRC) and neighborhood associations, developer GrayStreet received its final okay for the adaptive rehabilitation of the Print Building.
The Print Building, at 420 Broadway St., is part of the local developer’s Light Project. The work involves redeveloping the former San Antonio Light newspaper building into a 140,440-square-foot Class A office complex.
“This final HDRC approval on the Print is a key milestone as we continue to develop this project, and we’re eager to continue our timely progress in what will be a really special project,” said Peter French with GrayStreet. Work is underway on the project, with a completion date scheduled for Q2 2019. Transwestern’s San Antonio office is handling leasing activity on the project.
