GrayStreet Partners Nabs CBD Land
GrayStreet Partners acquired 1.7 acres across the street from the San Antonio City Hall. The local developer acquired the acreage, consisting of 11 plots, from Nueva Corp. and PK Realty Inc. for an undisclosed price. The new owner hasn’t indicated what it will do with the land, which is on South Flores Street, between Dolorosa and West Nueva streets.
The site was originally going to hold Kallison Square, a 21-story, $83 million mixed-use project envisioned by Teeple Partners. However, the development was canceled in July 2018, because of feasibility issues.
GrayStreet is at work on other projects in the CBD, including the Light Project, a re-adaptive development of the former San Antonio Light newspaper building.
