GrayStreet Continues Downtown Property Grab
Days after GrayStreet Partners announced its acquisition of 1.7 acres across the street from San Antonio’s city hall, the developer unveiled yet another buy. The most recent transaction involved the purchase of 1.2 acres on Nueva Street, between Flores Street and Main Avenue. The Stumberg family was listed as the seller.
The acreage boasts a parking lot and several old buildings. Current occupants on the site include Cadillac Bar and law offices. It’s at the same intersection as the Paul Elizondo Tower at 101 W. Nueva St., which houses Bexar County offices.
The local buyer hasn’t determined what it plans to do with the downtown properties it continues collecting. A spokesperson with the company told the San Antonio Express News that it is exploring options.
