Grapevine Great Wolf Resort Could Get Yearlong Renovation
The popular attraction just outside Dallas consists of a water park resort and an indoor lodge. The proposed 14 month revamp at the Grapevine location is expected to start May 1 of this year and wrap up the end of July in 2024. The company expects the improvements to cost $17 million. It’s been 15 years since the resort opened in Grapevine.
Public filings indicate the money will go to public area renovation of the existing resort that includes family entertainment areas, food and beverage areas, and interior finish updates. Also additions may include a grand stair, arcade relocation, restaurant expansion, and an outdoor bar. The area for renovations will encompass 57,000 square feet.
Great Wolf Resorts has been at it for 25 years, their first going up in Wisconsin in 1997. There are 22 Great Wolf Resorts in the United States and Canada. One is coming soon to Webster, Texas, near Houston.
