Grainger Leases 500K SF Warehouse at Carolina Logistics Park

Carolina Logistics Park in Pineville, NC has a new tenant. W.W. Grainger, Inc., an industrial supplier based in Lake Forest, IL, has leased more than 525,000 square feet of bulk warehouse space. The facility will be a receiving, stocking, and shipping hub for Grainger and is expected to be operational in 2024.

Beacon’s project team for the building included The Conlan Co., Merriman Schmitt Architects, Orsborn Engineering Group, and Wells Fargo.

Carolina Logistics Park is being developed by Beacon Partners. It sits on nearly 300 acres about 15 miles from Charlotte, and will consist of several million square feet of industrial space when finished. Current tenants include Amazon, which leases more than 1 million square feet, and Carolina Foods.

Leasing efforts are led by Beacon’s Tim Robertson. Grainger was represented in this transaction by JLL’s Jake Ehrenberg, Matthew Greer, Rich Grieder, and Rob Wheeler.
