Goya Foods to Expand by 324K SF

Goya Foods Inc., the largest Hispanic-owned food company in the U.S., is planning to expand its North American Processing Center in Brookshire, TX. The company will add 324,000 square feet of space, which will include a production warehouse, distribution warehouse, production office and auxiliary buildings.

The expansion project, spearheaded by KDW, will almost double Goya’s existing 380,000-square-foot facility at 30602 Goya Rd., approximately 100 miles west of Houston. The current facility, which sits on 130 acres, delivered in 2014, and was part of Goya’s $250 million expansion investment globally.

The current expansion is anticipated to be completed by 2018, and will include 29 new dock doors for domestic and international distribution.
