Gourmet Grocer Inks Deal for East Williamsburg Space

Garry Steinberg and Richard Kave of Lee & Associates NYC negotiated a ground-floor, 10,000-square-foot lease at 781 Metropolitan Ave. in East Williamsburg for Brooklyn Harvest Market. The lease runs for 20 years.

The gourmet grocery retailer features full-service butcher and seafood counters, a large produce selection and made-in-Brooklyn specialty and prepared foods. This will be the fourth store for the brand, joining two others in Brooklyn and one in Astoria.

“Brooklyn Harvest Market brought specialty products to the market that were in high demand by the residents of this up-and-coming East Williamsburg neighborhood,” said Steinberg, who represented the tenant along with Kave. “Brooklynites have really begun to recognize the Brooklyn Harvest Market brand as being symbolic of the highest quality, the freshest products and the friendliest service.”

Brooklyn Harvest Market is expected to open in mid-2020. The property owner, Adam America, was represented by NKF’s Hymie Dweck.
