Gourmet Eatery Mangia Relocates Across 57th Street

Williams Equities signed gourmet Italian eatery Mangia to a long-term, 9,500-square-foot restaurant lease at 57 W. 57th St. Mangia will relocate from across 57th Street, where it has operated since 1981.

At the northeast corner of 57th Street and Avenue of the Americas, Mangia will occupy almost 3,000 square feet of ground-floor space, along with more than 6,000 square feet of lower-level space that will house its catering facility.

““Mangia will be a great amenity for the tenants in our building,” said Michael T. Cohen, principal with Williams Equities, who noted that Mangia will complement Quality Italian, the property’s other restaurant.

Colliers’ Zach Nathan, David Green, and Brad Mendelson represented ownership. Current Real Estate Advisors’ Adam Henick and Jennifer Bernstein represented the tenant.

“The corner of 57th and Sixth Avenue is an ideal location for Mangia to continue to grow their footprint in New York City,” said Bernstein.
