Gould Property Co., Konterra Realty Break Ground on 400-Acre MD Project

Konterra Realty, the real estate arm of Gould Property Co., recently broke ground on the first phase of the Konterra Town Center East project in Prince George’s County.

The first phase of the project will begin with the construction of a 220-townhome project, The Marais Townhomes, with Caruso Homes as the builder and general contractor. Work is set to begin soon, in partnership with Bozzuto Construction, on two apartment buildings totaling 500 units. The first for-sale townhomes are expected to deliver this fall, while the condos are slated for 2028, reported the Washington Business Journal.

The Konterra Town Center East project is part of the larger Konterra project, which totals 1,400 acres on both sides of I-95, on a site that was formerly home to sand and gravel mining operations. The Gould family, which runs the Gould Property Co. and Konterra Realty, has owned the land since the early 1980s.
