Gosin, Tighe, Santora Among 2023 Honorees at Upcoming REBNY Annual

Newmark CEO Barry M. Gosin and CBRE New York Tri-State CEO Mary Ann Tighe are among the commercial real estate luminaries who will be honored by the Real Estate Board of New York at this year’s REBNY Annual, scheduled for April 20 at the Glasshouse. Gosin will receive this year’s Bernard H. Mendik Lifetime Leadership in Real Estate Award, while Tighe will be honored with the Harry B. Helmsley Distinguished New Yorker Award. 

The other honorees at the 127th REBNY Annual will include John C. Santora, chairman, New York Tri-State, Cushman & Wakefield, who will receive the Kenneth R. Gerrety Humanitarian Award; Dan Doctoroff, founder and chairman, Target ALS, who will receive the John E. Zuccotti Public Service Award; Elly Pateras, executive managing director, Douglas Elliman Property Management, recipient of The George M. Brooker Management Executive of the Year Award; Fredrick K. Marek, vice-chairman of Helmsley Spear LLC, recipient of the Louis Smadbeck Memorial Broker Recognition Award; and James Nelson, head of Tri-State investment sales, Avison Young, who will be honored with the Young Real Estate Professional of the Year Award. 

“Our 2023 honorees have helped make New York City a bastion of economic opportunity and innovation and are united in their commitment to service and our civic life,” said REBNY chairman Douglas Durst. “In recognizing their exemplary leadership, we hope to inspire other New Yorkers to leave their own indelible mark on their industry and community.”
