Google Finalizes 1.3M-SF Lease at St. John’s Terminal
Oxford Properties Group and Google have signed on the dotted line to finalize the tech giant’s full-building occupancy at the redeveloped St. John’s Terminal. Google will occupy 1.3 million square feet at the former freight terminal at 550 Washington St., part of a 1.7-million-square-foot Hudson Square campus the company announced last December.
“Google is confident that 550 Washington will be a great location for our growing New York City workforce,” said William Floyd, director of public policy for Google.
Added Oxford Properties’ Kevin Egan, “St. John’s Terminal highlights the evolution of our U.S. business, and we’ve been able to create a transformative vision supported by one of the world’s most innovative companies.”
Oxford was represented in-house by Adam Frazier, in collaboration with CBRE’s Paul Amrich and Howard Fiddle.
