Google Express Hits IE

Just in time for the holiday season, Google Express, the company’s next-day courier service, drove into Inland Empire. After two years of service following its Bay Area launch in 2013, the convenient resource continues its expansion.

Inland Empire residents can utilize the service at over 25 participating retailers and access their needs online or via the Google Express smartphone. The delivery service costs $95 per year, $10 a month, or $4.99 per order and competes with Amazon Prime.

Google Express receives a commission, and helps to take brick-and-mortar stores to the next level with the expedient delivery service. While the Inland Empire continues to grow its industrial infrastructure, Google will tap the existing resources to deliver products, rather than set up a facility in the area… at least for the time being.
