Goodman Breaks Ground on 1.8M-SF Logistics Center in Central Pennsylvania

Goodman Group kicked off construction on Goodman Logistics Center Newberry, a two-building logistics campus totaling more than 1.8 million square feet in Newberry, PA. Located adjacent to Exit 35 and fronting Interstate 83, the project provides strategic access to the Port of Baltimore, New York, New Jersey, Philadelphia and Washington, D.C.

Goodman North America’s Anthony Rozic says, “Goodman Logistics Center Newberry’s location means that it offers strategic access to 40% of the nation’s population, while offering freeway frontage for customers.”

Construction for both on-site and off-site infrastructure has commenced, and the site will be ready to start building by December 2018. The development is expected to deliver Q3 2019.

Over the last 12 months, the company has completed 5.5 million square feet of Class A development in key U.S. logistics markets, with another 1.9 million square feet currently under construction. Goodman’s current development pipeline includes $2.6 billion in projects.
