Goldie Initiative Raises Record $900K Ahead of Annual Gala
The Goldie B. Wolfe Miller Women Leaders in Real Estate Initiative will host its sixth annual Goldie Gala fundraising evening Sept. 22 at Navy Pier’s Offshore. Ahead of the gala, the Goldie Initiative has raised a record-breaking $900,000 for its Goldie Scholars program and continues to raise more.
The 2022 Goldie Gala will honor investment industry legend Pam Boneham with the 2022 Shero Award for her outstanding career achievements and unparalleled commitment to helping women succeed in commercial real estate.
Katie Kazas and Julie Thick, two of Chicago’s leading CRE professionals, are co-chairs for this year’s Goldie Gala. Kazas is managing director of capital markets at Longfellow Real Estate Partners, while Thick is managing director and central region market manager at JPMorgan Chase & Co.
“The Goldie Gala is one of CRE’s biggest networking events of the year,” said Kazas. “It’s not a sit-down dinner where you talk to the same 10 people; it’s a thoughtfully planned evening that benefits from the wide variety of industry professionals in the room. The Goldie Gala gives investors, developers, lenders, attorneys, general contractors, and brokers the opportunity to mingle throughout the night.”
