Goldie Initiative Grows to 25 Scholars in 2020-21 Class

The Goldie Initiative has set a new record for number of Goldie Scholars and universities represented with its 2020-21 class. The new class totals 25 scholars from 12 schools, including three new schools and eight Goldie Scholars returning for their second year of the two-year program.

The 2020-2021 class of Goldie Scholars, listed here by school, includes:

Chicago-Kent College of Law: Hannah Saed.
Cornell University: Ines Andrade.
DePaul University: Jennie Berman, Kelsey Berry.
Georgetown University: Megan Burrows, Adriann Murawski.
Northeastern Illinois University: Christina McInerney.
Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Management: Meredith Bledsoe, Sandra Kafka, Emily Mohr, Allison Rabin.
University of Chicago: Jessie Chen, Kristina Flathers, Kylie Gerst.
University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC): Liz Kersjes, Chelsa Moore.
University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign: Hannah Brostoff, Wanqiu Chen, Jesse Han.
University of Michigan: Suman Gidwani, Lexx Mills, Kristin Mixon.
University of Notre Dame Law School: Natasha Gunasekara.
University of Wisconsin: Carolyn Kane, Liz Trautz.
 
Launched in 2007 at Roosevelt University by renowned broker Goldie B. Wolfe Miller, the Goldie Initiative is a leadership development program for women pursuing C-level careers in commercial real estate.

This year’s Goldie Scholars will be spotlighted at the annual Goldie Gala, scheduled as a virtual event for Sept. 17.

About Paul Bubny

Paul Bubny serves as Senior Content Director for Connect Commercial Real Estate, a role to which he brings 16-plus years’ experience covering the commercial real estate industry and 30-plus years in business-to-business journalism.
